The Inspire Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose mission is to bring music and the arts to all children with special needs. We work with schools, individuals, groups, and organizations to evaluate their needs, build a program to best serve that particular environment, and provide the tools and instruments necessary to meet those needs.
Our main endeavor is The Gehrig Scholarship, which was created to help fund private music and art lessons for children with autism and all other pervasive developmental disorders. It has now expanded to fund group classes in music, art, martial arts, and dance at select locations in your community.

Update on the 'Christmas with Canyon' Campaign
He was making rhythms with spoons long before he learned to eat with them. In fact, everything he held in his hand was a drumstick, and everything in his sight, a drum. He loves music. Period. Topping the list: rock & roll. On his first day of kindergarten, his biggest fear wasn't that he'd be missing his mom, but that there would be no rock & roll. He has a greater knowledge of 70s and 80s rock bands than many of us who grew up during that time. His name is Canyon Blue. He is 8-years-old, and he may be the epitome of the quote, "Music is not what I do... it is who I am."
The Tampa Yankees & Bill Currie Ford Autism Awareness Game
The Tampa Yankees and Bill Currie Ford went all out for Autism Awareness Night at Steinbrenner Field on July 26, 2014! The children spent their time running the bases, playing pitching and batting games, jumping in the bounce house and watching America's oldest and favorite game, BASEBALL! There were raffles, prizes, games, and much more. The Inspire Foundation was honored to be the recipient of this inaugural event's fundraising efforts and will be able to purchase instruments and supplies for children with special needs. A special thank you to all involved, especially our volunteers and board members that helped work this fun event. And thank you to Big Nasty, Toby Hall and TradeWinds Resorts for being involved in the amazing raffle prizes.
